Hello! Can so done please share their experiences with this program.
The dates are April 17-18 and is for admitted incoming freshman.
The agenda seems pretty jam packed, Is there any free time for me to explore around myself?
How do they match you to your overnight host?
How’s the food?
Can anyone elaborate on their experience?
All input will be appreciated!!!
Sorry please ignored typos !!!
My D did not attend due to the distance and cost. She was concerned others would be “ahead of her”, but that wasn’t the case at all. So, don’t feel like it’s a must do.
I have hosted for this program last year, as well as did it before I came here. I think it’s a great program that allows you to learn about Cornell’s engineering program in depth. They try to match you with someone from around the same area as you.
There will unfortunately not be much free time to explore yourself but if you arrive early or stay later, you can. I believe that there’s about an hour or two where you can explore during one of the days. The food is really good and you get to eat in a dining hall once.
I had a great experience when I did the program and ultimately, came to Cornell.
