Word Limit on Midyear Update?

<p>Is the word limit on the midyear update very strict? Mine is at 293 right now, and I consider all of it to be important to the update. Is it ok or should I really try to take it down to 250?</p>

<p>Send it in. I don’t think they’ll care, and if it can help out your case for admission, it’s definitely worth it.</p>

<p>Actually, apparently they don’t let you go past 250. I did find a way to cut it down, but it was hard. So for anyone else, for reference, it does have to be 250 or less.</p>

<p>It is an unbreakable limit for some reason. I find it mildly annoying that they are being so firm on this limit, but they allow people to type many words over the limit on the application. I fit all of my essays under 250 on the application, but I need more space for updates for the midyear report.</p>
