Work hard, Play hard?

Well, I want to go to a pretty smart school, but also one with a great social scene and lots of parties... Those are my two most important factors, when you think of those two concepts together what schools do you think of? Also, I am about to be a Junior, but I have a list of schools that I think could be a good fit for me, I haven't been to many of them though so I know almost nothing about them. Could you give me your opinion of the following schools in addition to giving me some "work hard, play hard" schools?

Duke, Stanford, Cornell, north western, emory, Upenn, Umich, UVA, USC, UCLA

Bump (10char)

Out of the above schools, Cornell, Duke, Penn, UMich, and UCLA stand out as social/party schools. That isn’t to say the others aren’t, I’m just not familiar with their social scenes. I’ve heard Stanford has an AWESOME atmosphere as well.

UVA (great students, cool town) Vanderbilt (amazing academics, stayed with my cousins frat one night and it was like animal house)

ok thanks, @ehazoo, I won’t be in a Frat though, so how did it look for other students? Also, does anyone else have anymore suggestions for me to add to my list? I’m trying to make it as big as possible before narrowing it down so that I choose the best possible ones.

It looked great frat or no frat. I was there for their spring concert so they had a ton going on in terms of parties, drinking and student activities. Kid Cudi, Public Enemy, Edward Sharpe, it was nuts. The frat parties seemed to be inclusive too. The campus is outstanding and the students seemed to be very happy. Everyone comes off as incredibly smart. But they all know how to have fun.

UCONN, possibly you could get into the Honors Program, based on the caliber of schools you say you are applying to. OOS runs about 40K/year.

I know Penn is regarded as a work hard, play harder school…even when we went to the Penn previews, that’s what everyone told us.
