Work Study and Regents Scholarship

Major part of my financial aid is work study. What jobs would you guys recommend I pursue.
I'm down for jobs that can let me study or 'fun' jobs where I can interact with a lot of people on a continuous basis.

Also, how does the regents scholarship work. Is it automatic or do I apply for it?
What is the minimum qualification and the criterion?

Thanx

i saw some in a thread for it, we had to apply in previous months? letter of recs and a short like 300 or 250 words essay or something! If only i knew !! haha i would try and applyyyy i thought this was just automatic if you had high scores or something someone correct me if i am wrong! i would like to apply next year or something LOL :D

I was selected to apply for it, UCLA sent me a letter inviting me to submit an application. You need a 4.0 and a certain amount of units to be eligible to apply. It’s not one of those scholarships that’s open to everyone. If you don’t get a letter from them inviting you to apply, I don’t think you can.

UCLA- u need a 4.0 to get invited. it was due in march

Berkeley- u apply for regents AFTER/IF you get accepted.

Regarding Work Study, once you get accepted there’s a whole bunch of places looking for Work Study Students, sometimes you can get more than one job. I think for UCLA you can do so on URSA (supposably there’s a search button for that)!

this is all for UCSB
