Work study jobs?

Any ND students or parents have advice on the best places to work on campus? I read somewhere that Reckers was good, but South dining hall was too hectic? Any feedback would be appreciated!

-law library - you can study if you are at the circulation desk - chill job.
-the Rock - work front desk or lifeguard - during the winter it wont get too busy and you can get away with studying while guarding.
-Work for the athletic department. Apply now and if you get the job sometimes they allow you on field for the football games. Fun for big ones like USC, Navy or UM. these are just a few.

how do you apply for the jobs in the athletic office if your an incoming freshmen. i was told to wait until the beginning of school.

call the office - tell them you are interested in a position there for next year. they may not offer interviews till school starts but it gets your name on the radar - good advice with the way you pursue any other job, be persistent but not to the degree of annoyance. show interest in the position.
