After taking the 10 practice questions on CB's site and doing well (9/10) I felt encouraged to take the test. Is it really that simple or are these just to entice students to take the test?

If I get a book how many hours would be sufficent to get 750+

I also just took Euro AP and am certain I got at least a 4, possibly a 5.

I agree. I took World History two years ago and I did really well on the practice questions on CB's website and was wondering if they are easier than the real thing. I was wondering if somebody who took the class 2 years ago could do well on the test if I self-studied over the summer? Also, is modern world history included on the test?

Well, just pay attention to the percents at the bottom. Most of the questions were answered correctly by most people, but some questions only 20 or 30% got right. This can help give you some idea (but hey, with my horid lack of world history knowledge, I got 9 of 10 right!). I say take a free practice test from Sparknotes. Their math tests are accurate enough to give you an idea of what to expect and I would expect the same from others.

The test has a pretty lenient curve. I took it last year and got a high 700s score with a day or so of cramming with Barron's, and after just finishing the course and studying for the final exam. If you've taken AP Euro and remember a lot, then review some American and Asian history. There are some random questions, but you really don't need to get them all to do well, and some are guess-able. Good luck!
