World History, Physics, Math I?

Next year, I will be a sophomore. I'm taking AP Physics B, and according to a myriad of sources, B curriculum almost mirrors the SAT II test.

I'll also be taking Honors Algebra II/Trig, would this suffice for the Math I exam? After the following year, I plan on taking Math II.

And I'm also taking Honors World History, and doing some extra studying outside of class to prepare for the AP Exam.

What I want to know is this:
Does the AP Physics B curriculum pretty much mirror the SAT II? Should I take it in May, or wait until June? And how long before should I start studying?

If I take World, Math II, and Physics, and do well on them, would I even need to take more SAT II tests? Would they help my chances? The schools I'm looking at all require two tests.

Is taking Math I a waste of my time and money if I'm just going to take Math II the following year?

Will studying for the AP World test carry over to the SAT II test, or will I need to do extra studying? If I do extra studying, how early should I begin?

Thank you for your time!

Don’t even bother taking the Math I exam. Just wait another year and take the Math II exam.

I definitely agree with LoseYourself. Just take Math 2. Algebra 2/Trig would suffice for Math 1 though.

I took all my exams in May (800 Physics, 790 Math 2, 760 U.S. History) because I was studying for AP Physics B and AP U.S. History at that time. I started studying about a week and a half before the Subject Tests (you should give yourself more time than that though).

3 Subject Tests is completely fine. The difference between 3 really good Subject Tests scores and a couple more scores is very little.

AP Physics B is very similar to the Physics Subject Test. I used the Sparknotes online guide for the Subject Test along with studying for the AP (I used Princeton Review to study for that) and did fine.

I don’t think you will have to do much extra studying for the World Subject Test besides familiarizing yourself with the exam and doing a practice test or two. Someone I know got a 780 on the exam after taking AP Euro with a normal-level World History course. I did no studying for the U.S. History Subject Test besides that for the AP exam.

Thank you both! You guys were both helpful and cleared a lot of stuff up for me. And you guys help save me time and money. I won’t fret over Math I.
