What is the curve like, and how much should I study for it?
I got an 800 on it by thoroughly reading the Barron’s World History book. It gives a very good overview of every civilization, has good maps, and even has a bit of architecture (usually 5 or so questions on monuments). I also bought the Kaplan WH book, the Princeton Review book, and the Official SAT Subject Test guide just for a ton of tests to take. Kaplan seems to be the largest and most comprehensive in terms of actual content, the others are pretty short and have 20/30 pages on each topic.
It’s was easy to find the books I listed for quite cheap, so just get as many as you can and drill the tests. They’re all fairly similar in difficulty, but the Official Subject Test ones seem to function mainly as reduced difficulty confidence boosters.
Okay, thanks. I have been mainly reading the Barron’s, which I think gives a decent amount of content on each topic. Do you know how much of a curve there is, because I have heard about it being as big as getting an 80/95 for an 800, or as small as 90/95 in order to get an 800.
