Currently I am taking a Honors World History class that only covers information after the 1500s. Would it be wise to self study the rest and take the SAT subject test in June? In addition to barrons are there any other books that you would recommend to study from?

bump

Sure! I did that last year and did pretty well (760). I used the Kaplan book and thought it was good, even though the practice tests seemed somewhat harder than the real thing. I didn’t use the review sections that much because most of the test’s material was covered by my teacher/in my textbook. My friend used the PR book but said she didn’t like it- apparently it skimmed over some topics too much.
