Hi all! I just found out today that I have been invited to apply for the World Scholars program for the class of 2023. I’ve been interested in this program since I first heard about it, so this is honestly a dream come true! I was wondering if anyone else had heard back about the program, and if any current World Scholars had any tips for the interview, or just thoughts about the program in general? Thanks so much! Good luck everyone!
I was invited to interview, but I’m a bit confused. I don’t remember signing up for it.
Congratulations on the invitation and good luck with the interview though!
My son received snail mail invite today. Do not know much about it. Looks interesting. Is it necessary to interview? How competitive is it? I think my son might like the engineering / entrepreneur or cyber security. Thanks for any info. My first post here and appreciate all the insight.
My daughter received an invite also, and didn’t sign up for it. Honestly I wouldn’t want my Freshman to not be on campus the 1st semester of school. That is when everyone makes new friends in the dorms. There are plenty of other opportunities to study abroad later in their college life.
My daughter received the World Scholars invite yesterday. She is not keen on being abroad first semester either. Does anyone know whether there is scholarship money associated with this program?
Invited to apply as well - my interview is on Tues., 2/19. Any tips for the interview?
