Worried about my GPA! Help!

Hey guys, I am super worried because ever since I was little I have wanted to be a doctor to help cure poor people. I’m 13 years old in 8th grade but I’m afraid I ruined my chances, I’m taking 3 highschool credit classes, Algebra, Art, Spanish for Spanish Speakers 1.
My school year is divided in six 6 weeks that is divided in 2 semesters, the first one ending at e end of the 3rd 6 weeks. The following are my grades:

P.S There is still the semester exam I took but I did good on them.

Algebra 1

1st 6 weeks: 82.29
2nd 6 weeks: 77.43
3rd 6 weeks: 86.16

Average: 81.96

Art 1

1st 6 weeks: 95.55
2nd 6 weeks: 89.28
3rd 6 weeks: 92.43

Average: 92.42

Spanish for Spanish Speakers 1

1st 6 weeks: 96.07
2nd 6 weeks: 97.54
3rd 6 weeks: 100.17

Average: 97.92

Here is how my school/district calculates GPA, but I’m kind of confused on what my GPA is?! I’m worried that I have a horrible GPA, could someone calculate it for me:

I appreciate your help guys and I know I’m young but GPA is really important and I’m worried that this 1st semester has completely ruined my chances of going to college, and studying medicine. When I go to college I am definitely gonna have to work, get financial aid, win scholarships or grants, but I’m worried that I won’t be able to because of this semester. Please, calculate my GPA and tell me what you think. What can I do for the next semester starting Tuesday?

Thanks

Colleges don’t care about middle school. You’re fine.

But those are highschool classes

But you took them in middle school.

Colleges don’t count your grades from before freshman year.

Thanks, I feel a lot better now, could you still calculate my GPA though? I’m kinda confused.
I know now that they don’t count it, but I’m still curious about my gpa, haha.

Wow you really have your life all planned out at a young age, props to you! However, what the above poster said was right. Colleges will never look at middle school grades and if you go to a school in the UC system, they won’t even look at your freshman year grades. About your GPA, you have to calculate all the classes you’ve taken that semester, so we cannot find your actual GPA unless we know your scores in your non-highschool courses too. For these three, on the semester system, you earned 1 “B” which is worth 3 points and 2 “A’s” worth 4 points each. So far you have 11 points, calculate your remaining class points from your grade average and divide the total number of points earned by the number of classes you took.

I calculated the rest of my classes and now I have a 3.85 GPA, but I thought colleges didn’t look at “junior high classes?”

They don’t, but you asked to know what your GPA is.

Just some advice about your schedule:
Create a 4 year plan now. Include all the graduation requirements and the classes you want to take.
Do not take Spanish, you already speak Spanish so doing well in that will not help you. Take French or Latin or Japanese, anything but Spanish.
