Worried about the courses I'm taking

Hi, I currently just completed my Freshman year of High School and as I enter my Sophomore year, I’ve been thinking more about colleges and my work ethic. I only did one honor class Freshman year (Honors Latin 2) and next year I’m taking Latin 3. The only “advanced” class that I’m taking is Geometry M3 which is a bit of a step up from grade level which is M2. I finished Freshman year with a 91 GPA (my school does gpa out of 100), but I’m mostly worried about the difficulty of my courses this upcoming year because they’re pretty easy. I’ve always wanted to go to a respected school (Boston College, UCSD, UCLA, Boston University, UMich, etc.) and I’m worried that I’m pretty much screwed because my course selection for Sophomore and Freshman year were not rigorous. I’m going to try to get into APUSH for my Junior year, but there’s always a chance that I won’t get in. Should I give up on my dreams of going to a great college?

Can you take M3 or M4 social science history to prepare for APUSH? What about M3 English?
Try to take 3-4 classes above M2 (in all classes where you got a B+ and higher this year) since you have a pretty good GPA.
Most selective colleges I’ll indeed expect you to have honors classes or at least M3 level classes - and if you want to take AP classes with those would likely be pre reqs in terms of rigor (although typically you can go from regular to AP if you have a yearly average of 95+ or 98+ depending on the school but it’s not possible for all subjects.)
