With my current schedule i only have a discussion on monday, 4 classes on tuesday, one discussion on wednesday, 4 classes on thursday and friday free. I dont know it just feels wrong. Monday and wednesday is almost free and friday is free. Do you think i should change it?

It’s up to you. Do you think you can handle having that many classes on tuesday and thursday? It depends on the person. Some people can and some people can’t.

do you have good time management skills? if you dont, you’ll end up having really horrible monday and wednesday nights. if you like to take your time with assignments and stuff like that spread out your classes. its still possible to have fridays off and a more even mon-thurs. one class on friday, like a discussion, wouldnt kill you either

That’s a lot of work. Just getting through so many classes is hard. The homework will be killer. Tues/Thur classes give more homework because you only meet twice a week. The assignments will pile up.

I did that my whole sophomore year and I loved it, but depends on the type of person you are. First you have to be disciplined so that you actually work monday’s and wednesday’s and have the concentration to last that long on tues and thurs. A lot of classes are offered (especially for freshman) both on two one hour and a half sessions on Tues and Thurs (which is what you have) and 3 one hour sessions on MWF. I loved having Friday’s off though.

I did the t-w-th class thing all of Junior year, and it was really nice to have 4 day weekends. however, I only had 3 classes on t/th and I usually felt like skipping one. if they’re classes you must absolutely be prepared for, you’ll get worn out. I’d kind of recommend spreading your classes out more Freshmen year, if only because a) you’re getting used to managing your time on a college schedule and b) you’re used to having classes every day from high school anyway. you’re likely not to have class every day as an upperclassmen, so it’s nice to get used to the way college classes work before you mash them all into a couple days. plus you’ll appreciate it more down the line :)
