Worried for tough RD round this year

So NU has already filled up half of its class and I am starting to doubt if I will get in. I am going to present my stats and if any of you know of anybody who has similar stats or activities who got in RD please let me know because I could use some reassurance.

ACT: 33 / GPA: Highest out of all the applicants from my school (about 20)
Plenty of extracurricular, I’m not worried about that part really.
Interest: This is a big part of the app. I went to NU over the summer for their College prep program for 2 weeks and visited the campus twice before hand. I talked about the summer camp and their premed track in my essay.
Common App Essay: I thought it was good.
My Recs: Literally perfect, I know these teachers for so long and their letters were spot-on and excellent
Also more test scores: Solid AP Scores Chem(4) English(5) APUSH (4) Taking heavy AP course now
And I took the sat subject tests - not super impressive but still sent them chem - 710 math 2 - 760
No interview - I didnt see a purpose in learning about a school i stayed at for 2 weeks and learned everything i needed to know

Please let me know if I stand a viable chance to be accepted RD thanks

I just want to know if someone with identifcal stats to mine has been accepted RD before

International or local?

local

Not really relevant, but where did you get your information that half the class was already filled?

Thank you!!

Looks like you have just a strong chance as anyone based on your ACT and stuff and essays. You don’t have to share but GPA probably also plays one of the biggest roles, as well as ECs. I’d say interest plays big part in getting in NU so based on that I’d say you have above average chances. All you can do is try your best and it sounds like you did that. Good luck!

Your raw numbers put you in the running, but it was unwise to not take the interview. Even when a school says the interview is only informative, they are ALWAYS evaluative. At my interview for NU, my interviewer told me directly that we would write me a great recommendation (we really clicked). Not only do alums evaluate you, but simply taking one allows you to display your interest in the school.

Let me put it this way - my mother is an alumna as we visit NU a few times a year. I took an interview, not wanting to learn anything (because I almost literally know everything about NU), but because I wanted to display clear and enthusiastic interest in attending NU.

Did you hear back?? (I hope you received good news)
