so im pretty worried about this

were at the end of semester one, and my grades are alright... not good tho. mostly b's and some a's. :((
now i know if i wanna get into ivy leagues i have to get them all up to a's. and i will try to by the end of the year.

but, my question is that in my honors geometry class. theres a chance that i can get a c for my semester grade (2mp i did bad, a lot of stuff at home.) so if for one semester 1 grade of freshman year, would that kill me?

You are a freshman?! ease up a bit on self blame/problems at home focus and just find help and support. Learning to get help early is the best way to get to the college of your choice…if you try to do it by yourself and hope to pull it out at the end, you won’t. Go to your teacher in geometry and ask about changing the way you study, etc for the rest of the year and can you come in once or twice a week for help…use free school tutors etc even for the B classes. The big benefit is that if you figure out how to be an effective student in 9th grade, you may not need all the support and help later. My 'first didn’t do that and spent his whole career sweating bullets to pull out the grades in the second semester. The next is also a 9th grader suffering in advanced geometry but is figuring out how to get help/study/manage time now…good luck! the most important thing is not to worry about Ivies now but enjoy school, manage the ups and downs of social/home life, … make sure you attend at least one basketball game, blow off at least one homework, and be 14

hahha alright thanks!

yeah im already utilizing tutors. like for my hnrs algebra 2 class, i got a tutor, and i pulled my sem. avg up to a high b. and then for my spanihs class, i should get an a semester average,a nd the same for english. but my individual mp brought me down some.

so this one honors c possibly on my semester grade for first semeseter of freshman yaer wont hurt me all that much?
