worries about world history sat

so..i havent started studyin for World SAT, and im scared.....um what scares me even more is that i heard common sense can answer a lot of the questions...which is bad because most ppl have common sense and i dont.

^ lol I'm also taking that test. I been using Kaplan to study for it. Its a decent book, it covers the common sense portion along with in depth material.

I read the entire kaplan book within the two weeks before the exam. Even though the book was a bit weak with more modern south american topics, I was able to score a 690 on the test. My class used Barrons as a textbook, but it seemed just too in-depth...if you can get a copy, use it to review the artwork, since Kaplan doesn't give sufficient pictures, or any at all, if I remember correctly.

Is there anything else that you think we should review?

i would suggest searching threads for previous World History SATIIs, where people discussed the exam practically right after they took it. They should be on CC somewhere...as far as topics go, I don't remember too many details, since it was almost a whole year ago. What I do remember, however, was that there was questions about trade with South America that I basically never heard of before...

I would read Kaplan twice and go through Barrons once. Barrons is way more specific with the history of Asia. The practice tests for Barrons suck but if you want to shoot for a high score just follow the plan above. I got a 720.
