If there is anyone who has done worse on the ACT than the SAT and others too...
I'll be honest-- I got a 2040 on SAT. But I got a 28 on ACT. WHY is this? I'm practicing the ACT by taking tests every week and reading some tips, but I still get 28. Is that just the best I can do? Is there no way for me to improve? What am I doing wrong? I'll admit that I LOVED the SAT compared with the ACT... its sections are shorter and its easier to pace myself with the timing. But please tell me what I can do to improve! If you were in a similar situation, you might be able to connect better and make me stop feeling so DUMB!
Thank you to ANYONE who helps (I have the ACT test coming on September!!!!!!!)

I know plenty of people who have done worse on the ACT.

Why did they do worse-- do you know?

The timing is brutal. If you like the extra time and can handle the extra difficulty, i'd say the SAT is the way to go. It's a trade-off, really. Time for difficulty. In the end, both tests are about the same difficulty.

That's true, isn't it? See, I HAVE to take ACT because the university I'm applying to requires it. How can I improve the timing though? My case seems hopeless with like 2 weeks between me and void.

I got a 1910 my first SAT. I got a 27 on my first(and only) ACT. I did much better on the SAT...weird.

I got a 2070 on my SAT, but I got a 35 on my ACT. Of course, I took the SAT back when my ACT was a 31, so maybe I'd be able to get a 2250 or so. Either way, I'm not taking either test again.
