Worst Case Scenario

I bombed the subject tests. I thought I'd get lucky with no preparation, but I know I'm going to have to retake them if I want to have a competitive application.

The thing is, I was also planning on upping my SAT score. I should have time to retake both, but I'm wondering if there's a better order to take them in? Should I take the subject tests first (in October)? Or the SAT?

By worst case scenario, I mean, should something happen and that prevents me from taking both, which would be more beneficial to retake?

My SAT score was 2110, and my highest SATII score was 710.

Depends on the schools you are applying to. For the great majority, you are fine. You are even fine for, perhaps, any school you are considering. If that is your "worst case scenario" then you are too wrapped up in your own life and need to expand your horizons a bit. Many people would be, rightfully, very happy with your scores. Let up.

franglish, I appreciate your advice. I realize that these scores aren't damning. However, if something were to happen and I were only able to retake one set of tests, which should I go for? <-- That's what I meant by worst case scenario. My fault for not being clear.
