Under the About Me Section:
"I am homophobic"
haha, forget getting in with that.:)

In the middle of your essay:

"I don't understand why we have to write stupid essays. I find it so pointless and inaccurate. Just wondering if you're actually reading this."

or just write an essay that goes a little something like like like this: "runaway love...runaway love...this school sucks...tis school sucks..." (but it doesn't so we have nothing to worry about!..until 5 days AHblinks)

These are funny! My S and I did the same thing when he was filling out his apps! Cut the tension a bit.

His were, if I recall:

It matches my eyes.

I want to commute, so it's either CCRI or Brown.

"I hate Brown people."

Then you offend them in multiple ways.

^That would be hilarious! lol

In your essay you write something like: "I don't even know why I am applying to this school. I, like, have no shot at getting in. If you guys accepted me, that would be sooo incredibly awesome."

someone once asked..."what can brown do for you?"
my reply most definitively: "GIT' R DONE"
...and accept me

ha

LOL!!! i absolutely hate that phrase. i hear it five, six times a day here.
i kind of have a thing to not stick in the essays, although no one hears about it in time. "Well, UPS is my National Merit Scholarship sponsor, and I just want to show my appreciation towards them!"

If I wrote about how the Seth Cohen thing originally made me NOT want to go to Brown, but then later I changed my mind based on other factors, would that be too generic/bad in general?

Serena van der Woodsen

I think an essay that highlights your inability to make decisions and take responsibility would be the easiest way to get ignored.

“My mom suggested I do this summer research program, and my mentors there were with me every step of the way. Without their patient intervention, my tests would have been so difficult, I would have given up.”

That, or, “I was denied at Dartmouth Early Decision. If I can’t make my father proud, then at least I can become his enemy.”

1.“i am indian and brown befits my skin tone.”
2.“i hate liberals”
3.“boo, i didn’t get into harvard.”
^ these may warrant rejection. :D

anything regarding your obsession with the Harry Potter series especially the multiple restraining orders resulting from stalking Emma Watson

K. this thread just cemented my choice as Brown for #1. LOL

Haha, I was sooo tempted to make my “why Brown” one simple sentence:

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry wouldn’t take me.

I probably would have done it, too, if it wasn’t for the fact that they’d then think I only want to go to stalk Emma :P

Tell them that you are a person who needs structure and discipline in his academics.
