I'm a rising high school senior at Walt Whitman High School in Bethesda, MD. I've got strong essays and I have a great optional reference, good teacher references and a strong musical supplement (15 minutes of classical piano). I have visited Stanford's campus. Any idea as to my chances?

EC's: Mostly the piano. 12 years experience, DOZENS of awards and competition prizes. I also have done two service trips to Mexico to do charity work (with church). I have spent two summers as a summer intern in a diabetes laboratory at the National Institutes of Health. I have medical research published in scientific journals, the paper was presented at the American Diabetes Association meeting for 2006. At school I am a member of the Gay-Straight Alliance. During Junior year, I held down a job, 15~20 hours a week, at a organic food store. For child development class during the year, I volunteer to teach preschool kids for about 5 hours per week.
