Worth it for international students?

<p>I'm an international student, which means I can't get financial aid at public universities. Is it worth it for me to apply?
My family has low income (around 50k before taxes) so we wouldn't be able to afford it by ourselves.
I have a 2390 SAT (1600 cr+m) and 4.0 uw GPA. Rank 22/620</p>

<p>Have you considered Ivies? You SAT is amazing and your rank isn’t too bad. If you had some nice ECs, you would have a pretty good chance and a lot help out with low income and need based (I believe you’d get a full ride at Harvard).</p>

<p>I am going to major in Civil Engineering. Unfortunately most of the Ivies that offer finanaid to internationals don’t have CE. I’m applying to Princeton and MIT.
My ECs are not too bad and I’m a hell of an essay writer. :)</p>
