I have a 34 ACT and a 1480 SAT, but never took an SAT Subject test. The next time I could take them would be November 4th, and wouldn’t get the scores back till another few weeks after that. By this time in the college application process, is it worth it to take the Subject Tests? I guess it depends on where I am applying, but in general, what are your opinions?
The “in general” answer is, “most schools do not require them.”
The useful answer is, “figure out if your schools do.”
@AroundHere even if they aren’t required, how much better do they make your application look? I would take Mathematics 2 and Physics, and I know from practice tests that I can get an 800 in math and at least a 700 in Physics, which has room to improve with some studying
Check your admissions pages. They will tell you if they require them, strongly recommend them, or will consider them if presented.
