<p>If you really don't like violin, don't continue to take it.</p>
<p>I can't see being a violinist making/breaking your admission to any school (besides a music school).</p>
<p>If you show dedication to your other ec's, you'll be fine.</p>

<p>If you are just going to use it as a "filler EC," don't go for it. I think getting VERY good at one instrument > mediocre at two.</p>
<p>BTW, I have two Korean friends called Doh-Young and another called Yoh-Kyung. It was just very interesting to see the correlation between those names and your's. =)</p>
<p>Orchestra class won't help you out. Your other ECs are already better than plain old orchestra, and you're not planning on making a district or state-level orchestra, so stick with what you're doing.</p>
