I omitted one of my leadership positions as president of our school's advanced orchestra. Should I even bother with this? Thats probably the only thingg that would be considered "significant." Any tips on how to make an appeal well more convincable? What I should write and things like that. THANKS!

Oh in my application, I did make it very obvious that I am active in music.

Has anything noteworthy (or otherwise I suppose) occurred since November 30, 2007? I do actually know of one person who appealed just because he believed that his file was not looked at with enough scrutiny (I don't believe that he brought up anything omitted or new developments of that sort) and he actually won the appeal, but who knows? He may have left a detail or two.

After I called my counselor around like 8pm...

She wants me to appeal for UCLA...

and I am definitely going to appeal b/c she said it doesn't hurt your at all. At least fight untill the last minute and the last hope.

Do everything you can to get in =]

By the way, I am already brainstorming my reasons for appealing ...lol

how do we appeal? We send them a mail saying that this is what happened and this is why i should get in?

I'm also wondering how to appeal. What should the letter say to make it convincing? I'm thinking of not appealing anymore because I called UCLA and the admissions counselor said if i recieved an electronic email then they did re-review it. I dont think I have any new information but I have good recs? Would this be a total waste of my time? I suppose I don't mind UCI..
