Making mock schedules in anticipation of honors registration soon, and most all of them have a stats class in Hamilton ending at 11:20 and a public health class beginning at 11:40 at the Public health building. I think its about a 10 minute walk according to google maps, but I walk quick anyways, would any USC students have better insight as to if this is doable?
Which public health class? Some are nearly impossible to get as an underclassman.
Back in the day, I walked the equivalent distance (there to coliseum when J-school was there) and we only had 15 minutes between class and it was doable. So with 20 min. ought to be fine.
@g8rmomk8ans Intro to Pub Health, im going to be a PH major.
Honors, btw
@edomexchs That’s why I asked. My daughter is a “sophomore and a half” by credit hours and still wasn’t able to get this class–even though it’s an “intro” one. Apparently it’s very hard for underclassman to get and most don’t get it until Junior or Senior year. You’ll have a leg up being honors but you’ll still be behind the upperclassmen. It was full for the fall before she even registered this time (she’s also BS, public health). So just have your backups in place. Just thought I’d bring it up as the walking distance/time may be a non-issue!
