Man. You guys just want to gloat, don't you?

Absolutely.

Yeah, I too would like to update my colleges on my score (112.5). I would just like to know if it would be worth it. My other math scores are: SATI-800, SATII-790, ACT Math-35, PSAT(don't know if this matters)-80.

I'm applying to a lot of the higher-ranked schools (Stanford, UPenn, Brown, Rice, etc.) under an engineering major.

I hope this doesn't sound like I'm trying to gloat or anything. I just would really like to know whether it would help or hurt, given the above scores/college/major.

115, while very good, isn't incredibly impressive. 10 kids in my AP calc class scored in the 130s and even 140s.

You people really should look at the statistics. The AVERAGE SCHOOL WINNING SCORE is usually around 105-110. This means that with a 115 you will be on average the best math student in your school. People who think that a score like that isn't all that great go to really amazing schools and have higher standards. These people need to realize what colleges do realize, that if given the same opportunities, many people at other schools do better. And, connnnnie, last year only 3 people in Oregon scored 130+, so your school must be pretty amazing to have 10 this year.

hahah hahahahhha

i agree with newUser()...my school is a prestigious public, top 30/40 in newsweek every year but our winner was 112.5 and i got 3rd w/ a 109...many many students took the test and our school is definitely not dumb...i would have liked a higher score (made 1 dumb error, cost me 6 pts) but in the overall scheme of things even passing is good

SAT math 2 800 is very common
the SAT 1, its a little harder since the curve is difficult

Yeah I meant the SAT I. Sorry for not being clear.
