Would a "C-" in Calculus really rescind my admission to San Jose State??

I was provisionally admitted to San Jose State as an undergraduate a couple of months ago for an undeclared major. I would really like to go to SJSU but I currently have a D in Ap Calculus AB. According to the terms and conditions on the Intent to Enroll page, I must:

"Complete all coursework designated on your application as 'in progress' or 'planned' with a grade of 'C' or better ('C-' grades will not be accepted). You may not use Summer 2012 courses to meet or make up coursework or grade requirements."

This is the only place that specifically says C- grades are not accepted(everywhere else it just says that I need C's)

I passed with a C- last semester(70%-75% is a C- with my teacher). So my question is, if I brought up my grade but only made it to a C-, would SJSU seriously rescind my admittance because of that minus?

I wouldn't want to spend almost a grand on orientation/housing deposit if I'll just get revoked.

Check with your high school counselor or registrar. Our school does not report the + or -. So a C- would just appear as a C. All that matters is what appears on your official transcript; they can tell you right away.

Agree with bonnie as a starting point. There is still plenty of time left in the school year…additional option is to work harder and get the grade up to the point where you don’t have to worry.
