I usually get really good grades but this senior year i decided to take AP classes to get used to doing harder work for college. My grades are fine except i have a D in calculus and i cant fix this grade anymore.I got all the requirements done for csu but i heard that have you need a c or better in A-G courses. This is my 4th year taking math and only 3 years are required. Does this mean i wont get accepted?
It depends upon the CSU campus. Some campuses such as SDSU specifically state that getting a D Senior year in any course could be a reason for a possible rescind. I suggest you be proactive and contact each CSU to find out about your options. Many may state you will need to have a final year end grade of a C or higher to maintain a provisional admission. It is better to find out now than to wait until your final grades are out and you may be out of options.
Contact the schools you’ve applied to and ask… you may want to adjust your schedule for next semester based on what you learn.
Good luck.
