<p>It is 1200 words. The internet tells me that this is much too long for the brisk read it will be given by a selection officer. </p>
<p>The essay deals with what I hope to be a unique, however risque, topic. I would love to get some suggestions from the good folks here at CC as to how I can cut it down to 1000 words or fewer, how to better streamline my thoughts, etc. </p>

<p>My other question, and call me paranoid, is: how do I know you aren’t some high school student looking to steal my essay? It may not be the greatest thing I’ve written, nor will it be the greatest thing the admissions folks will ever read, but at least it’s something.</p>
