Would dropping a class in senior year cause UCLA to revoke my acceptance?

Hey guys! I am currently a high school senior and was recently accepted at UCLA. Early in the second semester, I decided to drop my elective Forensic science class to ease my workload and focus on my Senior Project. It wasn't a withdrawl, so it doesn't show up on my transcript anymore, but it was on my application because I thought I was going to take it when I filled out the app. I'm also taking AP Bio and Human Biology, so my science credits are more than enough even without forensics. However, I'm still nervous that theres a chance that my admission might be in danger. I already filled out an academic changes form and emailed the Office of Admissions today, but just wanted to get some quick feedback on whether this should or shouldn't be a problem. Any words of comfort?

As long as you let them know, I don’t think they’ll rescind your acceptance. :D

You should be fine. I have recent experience with ,this. My daughter switched a class this semester, reported it on the form, and got an email from Admissions about 4-5 days later that she is still good, as long as she keeps up the rest of provisions (no D’s, 3.0 UW GPA).

They may ask you for additional explanation, and if they do, just go ahead and write what you wrote here (overly ambitious workload), but they are generally not looking to bump people off for every little thing. They want to keep you.
