<p>I'm thinking of dorming at Stony Brook, but I'll be 24 when I start the school. Would it be uncomfortable for me? How many people are in my situation there?</p>
<p>This probably won’t help at all, but my roommate last semester was 23 while I was still 18. Would you be coming in as a freshman? I know someone who came in at about 26-27 but was considered a junior or senior im guessing because he was living in the West Apartments, which definitely wouldn’t be uncomfortable. The regular dorms, though, I have no idea</p>
<p>I have a friend that is 24, another one that graduated when he was 26. I don’t think is an issue. You can try to get a single and that will make you feel better if it bothers you to be with younger students…</p>
