<p>It is going to come down to your 4.07 GPA and the 29 ACT. You are a fit for UCI and possibly even their Honors Program. I would expect acceptances to UCSB and most likely Cal Poly SLO as well. UCB? Probably not a match unless your essays were off the charts. I know kids that had incredible GPA’s and test scores that did not get in – but, you never know. Remember it is a “selection” process not a “qualification” process. Cal Poly’s Science and Mathematics department for the most recent class had an average GPA of 3.85 and an ACT of 27 and an SAT1 of 1220 (according to their calculations you have a 1250). So, it looks real good. You will get in somewhere nice! Cal Poly SLO is an amazing place at thousands of dollars less a year than a UC. If you get accepted there you gotta go!</p>
