<p>thanks for the replies! Cal Poly is quite a bit cheaper, and I do like SLO. Osakadad, you made me feel so much better about my SAT scores when comparing them to Cal Poly. Do you know what the people are like at Cal Poly? I know the atmosphere at UCSC really turned me off from applying there and I haven’t had the chance (although I hope to) to see Cal Poly. And I must look into that honors program!</p>
