Would Johns Hopkins Reject Me Over This?

Hello everyone, I’m pretty sure I might be overreacting but I just want other people’s opinions on this matter. When I first started my JHU application, I was interested in the Direct MA program for International Relations, so I ticked the box that I was interested and was going to fill out a separate application. Towards the deadline though I was no longer interested, and I didn’t notice until about a week ago when I received an email about the program that I hadn’t changed my application.

I still haven’t filled out the separate application, and since I am no longer interested I wasn’t planning on doing so. Would I get rejected from the university entirely because I didn’t fill out the other application? Or would I just not be considered for the program but still be considered for regular admission?

It’s not a deal-breaker, but I would contact admissions about it just to cover your tracks.

Okay, will contact them about it just in case. Thank you!

Just to let you know, the same thing happened to me and here I am at JHU, so dont sweat it.

I ended up getting in! Hahaha. So if you are stressing over this, don’t worry!
