Would Math II scores make up for C in my junior year?

Hi,
I got a C last semester in Honors Pre Calculus but As in the rest of my classes. The rest of my grades are pretty much As and Bs.

I was wondering if taking the Math II subject test and getting a good score on that would make up for my C, or if I should do/can do something else.

Thanks!

Well, it’s Honors Pre-Calculus! But I suggest doing the Math II and doing well, to show you’ve improved. But remember, colleges look for improvement over the years, so if you’re improving in a more rigorous course, you should be good.

My friend, who was valedictorian, had like an lower grade in an AP English Class, but did very welll on the SATs writing section, so that balanced it all out. Try to make it up for where you did “poorly” by improving in the future. Don’t let one poor grade get to you, though. Just improve!

Thanks! :)
