I got into the engineering school at ND and I’m really worried. I will finish my senior year with one C and the rest A’s. I got this C in calculus because COVID-19 and I received a B first semester. I am an in-class learner and kind of struggled learning online. Would ND revoke my acceptance for this?
No. You’ll be fine. Your adviser may talk to you about it when you get to campus. They understand that some kids will drop some grades at the end of senior year when it stops mattering.
You are fine. The general rule often quoted on CC is to avoid D’s, F’s and felonies. In addition, I think colleges will be particularly understanding with the online instruction this semester. Go Irish!
Agree. Not a problem. Particularly with a course like Calculus which is highly conceptual. You either “get it”, or you don’t. And if you don’t, there is a lot of work to do, meeting with teachers, supplemental help etc. to get you to where you need to be. All of that was obviously impossible for you in the Spring semester. Welcome to Notre Dame!
