be too hard? I understand that college classes teach the class ENTIRELY in Spanish... yikes. I'm good at reading and writing, but not so much listening. For anyone who has taken a foreign language class at a college level, how difficult was it?

I've taken two years of it at community college, and found it to be a appropriate level to my knowledge of the language. The classes were taught primarily all in Spanish, but often explained in English if there was confusion. Make sure you get in the right level, and remember that you have only about two weeks to drop the class without a W at most colleges. I would recommend trying it, especially if your school (like mine) counts a semester at the cc as an entire year of language.

I took a Spanish literature class at a local university (not CC), and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The class was taught entirely in Spanish, but by the time I went, I'd already done governor's school (3 weeks, complete immersion, no English), so I don't think our situations are at all comparable. Our langauge classes are all Spanish from Spanish 2 on up, so it wasn't anything new to me either.

Make sure you're placed at the right level, go to your professor during office hours or ask questions by email (if that's ok with your prof), and you should be fine.
