Would taking the Nov. 1st SAT's fall within the deadline for Stern ED?

Kinda self explanitory, but I would die to get into Stern. I have signed up to take the SAT I's november first, but I just need to make sure the scores will come in fast enough for my to be considered for Stern ED. I am already below the average Stern Freshmen as my SAT scores stand now [1260/1600][4.0 Weighted GPA], but I do have some strong points [Lots of good EC's, good Letters of Rec, 1st in fam to go to college, URM], but I think without me submitting the scores for my next sitting, I have no chance whatsoever. Thanks you guys. I am almost done with my app, just perfecting my essays and stuff, which should be pretty good.

NYU > Undergraduate Admissions > Applying for Admission > Freshman Applicants > Standardized Tests

We strongly recommend that Early Decision applicants complete all testing by the October test date, although November scores usually arrive in time to be considered.

All students, except for those noted below, are also required to submit two SAT Subject Tests (formerly known as "SAT II" tests).

although November scores usually arrive in time to be considered.

Yea, but "usually" kinda puts a damper on it, so they are not being definitive. I was hoping someone could share their experiences, since I would assume the scores would come out late november, and nyu said they send out ED decisions in december and january, so I would guess that by late november, they would have already decided.

I've already taken the SATs three times (including yesterday), but I'm taking them for the final time in November. I'm applying ED, and my guidance counselor called the admissions office to see what their policy was, and they said that they will wait to see them. However, I'm applying to Tisch.

I took my 2nd SAT II on November first and it made it there in time for me to be admitted. I don't know if I would have taken the actual SAT on November first, but it should get there in time. If it doesn't, try to call Undergraduate Admissions and ask if when looking at your application, if your SAT score hasn't made it there on time, will they be notified that your score is on its way.
Good luck.

SAT four times Arianna? Wow that's a lot.

thank you guys so much. I am doing my essays right now, and now, its all so...real. No longer is college search and selection some kind of amorphous thing, but we are actually going through with it. Thank you guys, and good luck to all.
