Would this harm me more than help me?

I've been considering writing on either the first or last essay prompt, and was thinking about writing about how my age (I will be fifteen when I graduate, have been 3-4 years younger than my peers since late elementary school) has affected my experiences and opportunities throughout my life.
However, I'm not sure how it would affect a college's view of me; would they see having someone so young as a risk? Also, I'm not trying to be a special snowflake with the topic, but I figured it wasn't a bad idea since being the age I am has shaped my circumstances quite a bit.

What do you guys think?

I think if you can make a good essay out if it, you should go ahead. Your date of birth is going to be on your application. Colleges will know that you’re young. May as well address the issue if you can do it well.

Okay, thanks. In regards to my DOB already being on the application, I didn’t think anyone would really take notice unless something drew their attention to that fact.
