This year I took AP Micro first semester, and I'm taking AP Macro right now. The classes aren't very rigorous, and I feel like I did not learn much in micro. Would I be looked down upon for only taking the macroeconomics AP exam?

Does your school pay for you to take the exam? If they do, then take full advantage of it. You have nothing to lose. The college board would rather see you took the exam and failed than see you took the class and never took the exam.

Could you find an AP Microeconomics prep book somewhere and see if you know as little as you think you do?

No, my school does not pay for me to take the exam. I am already spending a fair amount by taking four exams. And I took a practice test one day, and I did not do so well…
