Okay, so I've got a couple other schools that are in the same league as Northwestern (Wash U, JHop), but the thing that I really don't like about Northwestern is the weather. The biggest thing that I think would bother me for the next four years is not being able to play tennis in reasonable weather.
So my question for ye current students out there is: do you know how easy it is to find a nice tennis court that isn't blustering with wind? Any cheap indoor courts?

Northwestern sounds very good, and I'm very happy about my acceptance, but if I won't be able to play tennis (which I love), is there anything that would make Northwestern clearly superiour to WashU and JHop?
Thanks for your honesty!

Edit: Shoot, I just realized that I meant "Evanston Cold" as opposed to just plain Winter in my title, sorry.

Well, there's always the chance that the NU tennis team are all just bada$$es who play through below freezing weather. :)
Plus, if they're that good, I don't expect to make varsity, so I don't know if I'd get access to those particular courts a lot.
Thanks though, that has to mean something!

Don't worry about making varsity--SPAC has the tennis courts open for anyone on certain days (I want to say either tues/thurs are reserved or open. Or I'm completely wrong.) Either way, you will be able to play tennis during the winter.

Yeah at spac you can reserve a court and pay or on tuesdays and thursdays you can walk in (if courts are available) for free. Plus in spring and fall when weather is nice there are outdoor courts but I'm not sure if they are accessible to students but i'm pretty sure they are.

Augh, now I can't cross Northwestern off the list, I actually prefer indoor courts to nice weather outdoor ones!
Thanks guys for the responses!
@indiejimmy: Heck yes.
