Would you choose Syracuse's Newhouse over much more high-tanked universities?

I really really need some advice. I love Newhouse, but I am not sure whether it is very reasonable choosing it over Wake Forest, which is on 23rd position in the US News report. Could you pleaseeee share your opinion?

DD is headed to SU in the fall as a Whitman/Newhouse dual. She would have picked Elon over Wake for Communications. She wants Broadcast Journalism and Newhouse has arguably the best program in the nation. Wake is a fantastic school. I have friends who had sent their kids to Wake and both are now in med school. It all depends upon what you want to study, your fit, and your financial situation. I would suggest picking the school that is best for you and the one where you will thrive. Both are great choices. DD fell in love with Cuse! Good luck to you. You have two terrific choices.

Thank you so much, @funfatdaddy‌! The problem with me is that I really don’t know what I want to study. I equally fancy journalism, history, IR and econ. I see myself better in Syracuse, however I am afraid to miss a chance getting into great grad school, as Wake’s name might be very helpful.

simple question… where does your kid want to go…either is fine. :-"

Berezka…Below are some links to employment and graduate school placement for both SU and Wake which you can copy and paste. I believe you can do well at either SU or Wake. I believe what matters is choosing the school that you will enjoy most and where you will perform best. For my daughter Syracuse was the obvious choice. Good luck with your decision.
