Would you join this club?

I'm a sophomore in HS. I want to start a club for helping kids with tuition. Obviously I can't make enough money to cover every person's tuition, but someone suggested we give out $100 grants to students for supplies, or paying for AP exams, etc. I am open to more ideas about what to do with the money.

I want to call it T is for Tuition, because we could make t-shirts, sell them, and use the money for college-related or school-related things (my school suffers from a lot of budget cuts). I'm not going to lie...I saw an episode of How to Rock last night (I'm not ashamed) where singing telegrams were delivered as a fundrasier. I go to a performing arts school, so I thought that was a good idea, too. I was also interested in starting a blog written by students or maybe a Youtube channel, and use the advertising programs to raise money as well. It's basically a fundraising club.

The problem is I don't know how to raise money to start the fundraisers (you have to spend money to make money) and I don't know how to get students involved. Any help?

From the original post, I understand that the tuition you are referring to is for your high school, which I’m assuming is private. I think it’s an interesting idea. Generally, with starting a club, you go to an administrator with a proposal for the club. However, this whole concept seems a bit ambitious. If it doesn’t work out, I might recommend partnering up with your school’s key club and in helping raise money for local charities.
