Most likely forgot something, but I greatly appreciate any honest responses.

I think you have a strong chance for admission to UVA. Your 12 AP's are impressive. Your rank and SAT's are good. I'm glad to see that you are taking the SAT's again and also planning on taking the ACT exam. I think you have broad EC's with good leadership positions.
So, I say yes, I bet that you will be accepted to UVA. Be sure you write exceptional essays,........ but you knew that already.

Disclaimer: I don't know what "the College Board Score" is, but I think I can guess.

I'm kind of a math nit-wit, but if the College Board Scale only goes up to 4.0, how do you have a 4.12? I'm sure I'm missing something extremely obvious.

I assumed the APs were weighted like most other scales. Maybe I just made up my own scale >_>. I could post each of my grades, but I doubt anybody wants that.

No, I don't think that is necessary. I'm a firm believer in rank. No matter what grading system one comes from, the rank is always tell-tale and gets down to the nitty-gritty. Your rank of being in the top 8% of your class, and being an in-state student, with pretty decent SAT scores tilts in your favor. Good luck to you.

Have now taken the November/December SATs and December ACTs.

Subject Tests:
Math II - 590
Literature - 540
Should have probably studied for these >.<

I doubt I did any better on my Math SAT. Not sure about the other two.

The ACT was definitely different from the SAT, ended up having to completely guess on 10 (8 in the Science section) because of the time limits. No idea how well I did though.

yeah i think you got it. My father is an alumnus, so i know many people who go to/went to UVA and a sizeable number of them had similar SAT scores. Courseload is good. When i visited the University, i talked to a representative of the alumni association who, while not a dean of admissions, knows the deans very well and talks with them about the admissions process alot.

She says the only time the SAT raises a red flag is if any of the three scores start with a 5. She also said the deans like to see applicants in the top 5% of their class, this might be your only problem.
GPA seems ok, she didn't really talk about GPA that much.
EC's look good, i am also and eagle scout; and UVA puts a sizeable amount of weight on that.
All things considered, including that you're in-state; i doubt the rank would be enough to completely override everything else about your app and deny you, i would feel confident.

it's enough to get you in. don't stress about the SAT score. my friend who graduated last year did not get in with a 2150 while another friend with 1900 and something more got in. The main reason was that the one with 2150 did not have a GPA over 3.8. 3.8 is a typical cut off line depending on where in VA your school is. for NoVa, people under 3.8 had a hard time getting last year.
