Wow, so will this GPA trend look bad?

Freshman Year GPA: 3.95
Number of honors/AP: 0

Sophomore Year GPA: 3.87
Number of honors/AP: 4

Junior Year GPA: 3.75
Number of honors/AP: 7

Will this look really bad? My grades aren't as good but my courseload is definitely tougher. I am also taking the toughest courseload in my grade and I'll probably be in the top 1-2% of my class. Any tips?

Colleges that calculate your weighted GPA (each using their own method) take the AP courses (and maybe the honors as well) into account, so your WGPA may actually be rising. :)

Well your GPA is going down, but your course load seem to be getting more difficult, so I don't think they will mark it as a negative trend.

how is it physically possible to fit 7 APs in ur schedule!?

well, 6 APs and one college class. and yeah, school's tough this year..im trying to get it n the 3.8+ range, but still idk if i can do it and im really bummed that i actually ahve a downward trend

You may be able to get your weighted GPA in the 3.8 range, but probably not unweighted.

Its better to have the tough schedule you seem to have and get a 3.75 then to get a 4.0 with easier courses so I think colleges will be fine when they see you're challenging yourself

I may be able to get my weighted GPA to the 3.8 range? I think my weighted is a bit higher than that? lol

How so? I thought 3.75 meant your overall GPA now, weighted.
