<p>So I just got back home and apparently when I was out, my parents said that a Harvard admissions guy called and wanted me to call him back specifically for a phone interview?</p>
<p>This is odd... I thought that if everyone was going to be evaluated significantly on their interviewers, that they would be real interviews at least !</p>
<p>Anyways, I have to call him back within the next hour or so... does this mean I'm probably in the auto-reject pile that they don't even waste face-to-face interview time for?</p>
<p>Well, my interviewer told me that the committee (for my area) meets on Feb. 20th, so the interview had to be completed before then. Maybe it's just a time crunch issue, I think some of them meet tomorrow.</p>
<p>Everyone gets an interview regardless. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the strength of your application</p>
