<p>So right now, I'm visiting colleges with my dad and my mom is at home. I was on my way to the airport in St. Louis today and my mom calls and says I got a letter from Dartmouth. I tell her to open it and read it. I was so excited because dartmouth is such a long shot for me.</p>
<p>Turns out the letter was just some stupid reminder about the online status page. What a bummer.</p>
<p>One of my colleges keeps sending depressingly thin small envelopes that turn out to be status updates... I've gotten 4 so far!</p>
<p>I wish they would stick to email for that stuff- this emotional rollercoaster is not fun.</p>

<p>i agree..........i've gotten mail from 3 schools this last week. each time i have a heart attack........and it's always nothing. are they sadists or what?</p>
<p>Same! Middlebury sent this stupid letter talking about how awesome Middlebury is. Dartmouth sent the status report reminder. But I did get a likely from Rice :)</p>
