Sorry for the low stats, I had a really hard time with high school!!! I’m hoping that my current B in 1 of my AP classes won’t hurt too badly, though I know it probably ruined my chances for Harvard. Oh well!! :(

also let me know if i should retake the SAT, my counselor says I can probably get up to a 2390 this time (20 pts improvment would be really good!!)

thanks!

Hello. I’m an Asian Female applying internationally from Africa. The reason for my living elsewhere than the US is because I have decided to help engineer a special chemical that will help purify the water sources for the humble, kind people of Kenya. After much hard work I have learned their native tongue, along with swahili and a dialect of chinese only spoken in the westernmost regions of the country.

APs:
History: World, US, Euro: 5,5,5
Math: Calc AB, BC, Stat, Micro and Macro Econ: 5,5,5,4 (nooooooo!)
Science: Chem, Bio, ES, Physics EM: 5,5,5,5
English: Comp, Lit: 5,5
Language: None of the languages I take are offered in AP, I hope this doesn’t kill my chances

SAT: 2400: (i took this twice though, and the first time I only got a 2390 EEEK!)

ECs:
I am an actual member of the Kenyan Government’s Diplomatic Relations Committee
I have started a software company (but I only brought in 190k, 10k short of my goal)

Essays: One of them was given an award in an international essay contest, but it only got 2nd…
For the other one, I wrote about how both my parents got AIDS and died, and how I coped as I was left on the streets of NYC in the ghetto, and how i made my life living alone from that point on

Recs: One from US Secretary of State Clinton. I interned with her over the summer, and we have a very close realtionship.

I know I’m too stupid to get into harvard, but do you think that I at least have a chance for the lower Ivies like cornell? Thanks for your comments.

AnonymousStudent wins for the most ridiculous joke thread I’ve ever heard. It gets a 10/10 on audacity and originality, a 4/10 on stereotypical, but a 10/10 on tone and mood. daem0n wins in pure stereotypical nature, with a 9.5/10.

Anyone else care to join the judging? I’m bored out of my mind.

Forgot the double legacy at Harvard…
