Writing 3 in summer?

Is it hard?

I think you mean Eng Comp 3 to satisfy the Writing I requirement. It all pretty much depends on the professor.

for the frshman summer program, can I choose the professor? also, how do I know which textbook is using?

It should be pretty straightforward since it’s a writing I class, I’m more worried about Writing 5W (which I’m taking this summer…)

how can you get to writing 5? I thought we can only waive writing 1, the entry level writing?

are you going to take it at summer institute?

He means English Comp 5W, and yes it’s a summer class to fulfill Writing II.

for the freshman summer program they place you into a professors class, you don’t get to choose.

hopefully you get stajura, he was really good when i did FSP

@mrskool09, thanks for the info.
were you on the science track and took precalc or chem+calc combined course? Was it stressful or okay?

Also, do you know what the textbooks will be used? So that I can buy them from cheap place in advance. thank you!

yeah i did the science track and took the chem/calc class

if you have corbin then its gonna be stressful xD

i dont know if they will update the books being used. if not then i could just sell you mine for super cheap

haha it is great that your book is super cheap! But, what is title of the book? thanks!

when i was in it this past summer they were using
Single Variable Calculus by Jon Rogawski
Chemical Principles The Quest for Insight 4th edition by Peter Atkins / Loretta Jones

My goodness, the books are SO expensive. Also, I want to know if it is very stressful in freshman summer program?
What about english comp 3 textbook? which one was used?
Is it liks 3 courses in 6 weeks?

I could sell you both books for $50 together

It can be come finals and midterms studytime

When I took english comp 3 the professor only made us buy his course reader. so it will depend on who you get.

i guess you could say it was like 3 courses; there were separate math and chem problems and separate midterms for them

could you place the ISBN numbers?

I will call FSP to see if the same books will be used. Thank you!

I am told I will be in chem 96. I don’t know if the same textbook will be used. And, I wonder which course you took in FSP last year.
