I want to go into business, but I'm having a hard time writing essays about this. I don't have a stand out business EC or many business related ECs that I can extensively talk about without embellishing/making stuff up. How can I approach this? Would I just have to continually talk about my passion for business and how it came to be? Because I don't feel like I can convincingly convey that either, seeing as how business is just something I want to do, no rhyme or reason. How do I approach this?

Business and Economics are two of the hardest majors to write about IMO.
The biggest issue is generating revenue or making money isn’t an altruistic goal and so that undermines the essay.
Furthermore no matter what accomplishments you have, someone else has done something more impression so focusing on the greatest accomplishments is simply as a race you can never win.

For these reasons I advise the following.
First framing your passion in business in terms of helping other people (instead of generating revenue).
Second is focus on how much you still have left to learn. In other words come off as a humbling student.
There might be some other stuff that I can’t really think about right now.

if you PM me, I can show you a “good” business essay along with a few “bad” ones.
